I do a lot of makeup applications every year, but this one, for my friends wedding yesterday, was very special. Sinead and I met Trick-or-Treating in our neighborhood in Kansas (circa 94/95). Her and her twin taught me to roller blade, ride bikes, how to play countless board games. We logged a baJillion hours on the trampoline, walking our dogs that became best friends themselves. They’d call me on the phone, mon-fri, to tell me to bring a jacket if it was cold and that it was time to come to the bus stop. I’d sneak them white bread because their mom only bought wheat. They’d invite me to tons of little family things that meant the world to me, each time.
Even as our lives continue to evolve, I’ll never choose to let the thread of the quilt of our life unravel.
Congratulations, my friend!
